For enterprise companies, the introduction of generative AI in vertical industries can be expected to improve productivity and reduce costs through automation of processes that used to be manual. In the manufacturing industry, 93% of respondents believed in the effectiveness of AI to drive growth and innovation. (1) In the retail industry, 80% of executives expected to utilize AI automation by 2025. (2) In the telecommunications industry, it was predicted that generative AI would create growth for companies adopting AI. (3) Broadcom will support the growth of AI workloads embedded in enterprises’ new and existing enterprise applications. VeloCloud Familyis continuously evolving. AI workloads are being applied to both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) use cases. Additionally, unlike traditional IT workloads, AI workloads mostly operate autonomously across a distributed enterprise and adopt an orchestration method rather than management. Additionally, data use is supported at the data generation location and is led by the business department.

“VeloRAIN is the foundation of AI networking innovation that powers the entire VeloCloud family to further meet the demands of enterprise AI workloads,” said Sanjay Uppal, vice president and general manager of VeloCloud at Broadcom. Application-based quality of experience for AI workloads, from distributed inference and agentic peer-to-peer applications to high-volume upstream augmented generation (RAG) transactions, across all enterprise endpoints. In the future, we will be able to provide more enterprise companies with the next-generation infrastructure essential to support these current and future AI workloads through collaboration with our global partner ecosystem through our new partner program Titan. “I expect that,” he said.

Accelerate and optimize enterprise AI workloads based on the new VeloRAIN architecture

Broadcom announced significant innovations in AI-driven networking in its VeloCloud product family. New VeloRAIN innovations enhance the way enterprises build and manage AI-driven networks through smarter application and traffic prioritization. The functions are as follows:

AI and ML based AI application avariceji: VeloRAIN will introduce new intelligent features that help identify encrypted application traffic that cannot be analyzed by existing network optimization solutions. This simplifies the process of identifying and prioritizing new edge AI applications and improves the quality of service (QoS) and experience for modern applications.

network efficiency and traffic Optimization elevation: VeloRAIN will introduce new channel estimation intelligence for wireless connectivity networking, including 5G and satellite. Regardless of whether a wireless link is used as the primary link or in conjunction with a primary wired link, these innovative features ensure that fiber-optic Internet-like service quality is maintained even under dynamically changing network conditions. (QoS) implementation is supported. Enterprise companies also benefit from reduced branch or remote networking setup time.

application priority decisionsecond for AI based dynamic policy framework: Simplifies network management by automatically assigning business priorities to new applications and ensures that critical applications get the attention they need without manual intervention. Supports adding user profiles and traffic prioritization based on user identity and attributes through Dynamic Application Based Slicing (DABS), which supports application-specific quality of experience guarantees with or without network layer slicing across multiple, heterogeneous underlying networks. This helps meet the quality demands of key users and improves overall performance and user experience. Additionally, the policy framework will be able to leverage user identity to further enhance traffic prioritization.

VeloRAIN AI-powered networking delivers unprecedented visibility, prioritization and automation of enterprise networks through the latest innovations. This allows organizations to improve operational efficiency and provide a superior user experience.

Maximize network performance and resiliency and support large-scale workloads with the new VeloCloud Edge appliance

Broadcom’s new VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100 appliances are designed for large branch offices, regional hubs and data centers and will deliver a variety of SD-WAN, security and AI networking capabilities. This helps enterprise companies support their most demanding environments.

Ÿ The VeloCloud Edge 4100 appliance supports up to 30 Gbps of throughput and up to 12,000 tunnel connections. This provides up to 300% improved performance and scalability compared to existing products (3400 & 3800/3810). (4)

Ÿ The VeloCloud Edge 5100 appliance supports up to 100 Gbps of throughput and up to 20,000 tunnel connections. This introduces a completely new entry point for ultra-high-performance, scalable deployments.

The VeloCloud Edge 4100 and 5100 appliances will simplify network architecture by reducing the number of devices needed to deploy as network and security services scale to support growing business requirements. Additionally, the platform supports expansion to a bandwidth of over 100 Gbps and ultra-low latency through clustering technology. Additionally, the appliance provides powerful resiliency and rapid failover based on enterprise-proven VeloCloud technology, helping enterprises better support large-scale AI and non-AI workloads in edge environments.
