The candidate for the president of SYRIZA, Apostolos Gletsos, commented on the Mega program “Akoma neda sedis nitos” on the internal developments of the official opposition party. On the occasion of today’s meeting for the election of congressmen, he also referred to the upcoming Congress, which is going to clean up the course of the party, but also the role of Stefanos Kasselakis in the whole process.
«Mr. Kasselakis is performing acrobatics on a rope which is dangerous. There is a party which is SYRIZA and we are all waiting to know the results from the official party. Mr. Kasselakis cannot give results himself. What he is doing is completely anti-institutional“, he initially said.
«For everything that happens from now on in the Congress, Mr. Kasselakis is the moral author. We have arranged how the elections are to be held and they are being held normally. Not everyone can have their say“, added the SYRIZA presidential candidate.
In conclusion, Apostolos Gletsos said that he did not receive a summons to appear before the Ethics Committee of SYRIZA. “Possibly such a proposal was filed, but we never officially heard from the Commission“, he commented himself.
