Mexico City, November 4, 2024.
The National Online Baccalaureate Service, “Prepa en Línea-SEP”, opens the registration process aimed at the population that has completed secondary education and who wishes to attend or finish the upper secondary level in the virtual non-school modality.
The call will be open from November 4 to 15could close earlier if it reaches 30,000 complete registrations.
Interested persons must enter the registration section of our institutional portal: prepaenlinea.sep.gob.mx and provide the following information:
a) Unique Population Registry Code (CURP)
b) Name(s) and surnames
c) Personal and non-transferable email
The procedures and studies are carried out 100% online and there is no age limit to register; All that is required is a computer, internet access and compliance with the requirements of the current call.
To obtain official student registration, the following are required:
- Complete the registration following the rules.
- Upload the requested documentation.
- Be one of the 9,600 people who passed, with the highest grades, the preparatory module.
The preparatory module is mandatory, in which the technological tools necessary to use the virtual learning environment and the details of the educational model are known, in addition to the educational figures present in the academic career. It lasts four weeks.
Upon completion of the study plan, an electronic certificate with official validity from the National Educational System is granted with which you can continue with higher level studies in any public or private institution, if desired.
While studying it is possible to work or carry out artistic, parenting, sports tasks, among others, since there is the opportunity to distribute study hours during the week. The educational platform is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For comprehensive training, Prepa en Línea-SEP offers students cultural activities, such as reading circles and a health fair; academic, such as e-Science Fair and financial mathematics course; and extracurricular workshops, such as photography and yoga, in which knowledge and skills are acquired or reinforced. Cultural activities are managed according to the following training areas:

- Artistic expression and cultural diversity
- Healthy lifestyles
- Citizenship and community of Prepa en Línea-SEP
