HORSE, a joint venture between Geely and Renault, continues to expand its presence in Europe and it doesn’t stop at big cars. Now the company has decided to conquer the microcar sector, producing engines and transmissions for electric ATVs of the L7e category, which can be driven with a B1 license. The main production site of this project will be located in the Portuguese city of Aveiro but HORSE’s ambitions do not end there. The partnership has already secured major engine deals for the company, including one for the new Mercedes CLA. This engine promises impressive efficiency and power, which will be a new word in hybrid technology. HORSE is expected to test it in several cities in Portugal in preparation for mass production, targeting 20,000 units. This way, kids with big aspirations can get the latest technology at an affordable price.
