/ world today news/ A protest of many thousands is expected today in Garmen, when the deadline for demolishing the shacks in the Roma quarter expires. Rockers and football fans have announced their participation in the protest.
Organizers said the march would be peaceful, with residents and protesters demanding the state do its job. They spoke out against those who do not follow the laws of the country and live on the backs of ordinary people.
The protest starts at 11:00 a.m. after the sirens in memory of Hristo Botev. The procession will leave from Garmen in the direction of Marchevo and will stop at the place where the bloody clashes between Roma and Bulgarians took place 10 days ago.
