Apple announced that there is a preview problem in the rear cameras of some iPhone 14 Plus models produced between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024.
The problem was said to affect a very small percentage of devices. Apple offers a free repair service to fix the problem.
How to find out if your device is eligible for the FREE repair program
First, you need to find out your device’s serial number by going to Settings > General > About.
You can then check compatibility by going to Apple’s support page and entering your serial number in the appropriate field.
If your device qualifies for this program, you will be able to benefit from several repair options.
IN PREPARATION FOR REPAIR
If you choose to go to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider for repair, you must bring your device and any accessories involved in the problem.
It is also recommended that you back up your iPhone before the appointment and reset the device to protect your personal information.
If you choose to ship your device, you must remove your physical SIM card and, if you are using an eSIM, contact your wireless provider to cancel service.
