A 19-year-old girl, born in Bologna, was arrested for attacking four policemen and medical staff with kicks, punches, threats and even a bite. The events occurred on Saturday morning near the La Ternana bar, where the municipal police intervened to break up a fight between two visibly altered girls. At the sight of the officers, the young woman reacted violently, pushing and spitting at them. Subsequently, when the police officers arrived, he continued with threats and spitting, repeating “you must die”.
Both girls were taken to the police station. The 19-year-old, who continued to rage, was taken to the emergency room, where she attempted to escape and attacked doctors and nurses, damaging furniture and biting a doctor. The healthcare personnel reported ten days of prognosis, while the police officers suffered injuries with prognosis varying from three to ten days.
Yesterday, the validation hearing was held in court before judge Domenico Potetti. The young woman, defended by the lawyer Marco Fabiani, availed herself of the right not to answer and agreed to a sentence of one year and ten months, before returning to freedom. The Police Commissioner issued a Dacur order against her, banning her from accessing public places in the province of Macerata for one year. The second girl was reported for resisting and insulting a public official, with a mandatory deportation order and a ban on returning to Civitanova for three years. Both were fined for drunkenness.
