César Cravioto RomeroSecretary of Government of the Mexico Cityconfirmed that the mayor Luis Mendoza notified him about the closure of the Sports City Stadium and the Bullring in the mayor’s office Benito Juarez. This measure, taken on November 2, was justified by alleged irregularities in matters of civil protection.
Since then, Ticketmaster suspended the sale of tickets for the match between America y Pachucascheduled for Wednesday, November 6 at the Sports City Stadium. This decision was due to the closure of the sports venue, which occurred after the match between Blue Cross y Santos. The closure of the stadium generated uncertainty about the holding of the match, since the América club would not be able to play at home at its usual venue.
