Häckens kross – kicked Örebro out of the Allsvenskan

There were two different scenarios for Monday’s game at Bravida Arena.

The women’s hurdles had already secured a top spot in all three and as Rosegård had already secured the gold, they had nothing to play for.

The hosts, Kif Örebro, on the other hand, would be playing for survival in the women’s league. But the question is whether Närkelaget’s hopes were dashed already in the fifth minute.

An offensive corner for Häcken allowed Hikaru Kitagawa to score 1-0 and give Örebro their worst start to the game. Just over ten minutes later, that lead was extended when Alice Bergström was completely freed and had a chance to score 2-0.

The goal shooting did not follow at the same pace, but it took until the 64th minute before 3-0 was a game changer. Häcken also scored the fourth goal, which was a big winner in the last home game of the season.

– It is clear that you feel sorry for them. It is difficult to find out, you are clearly suffering from them. It’s never fun to get out of a series, so I tried to give them some comfort, says Anna Anvegård to Viaplay after the game.

The victory means that Häcken has second place in his own hands. It’s just a cross away to BP to chase Hammarby without getting up.
