Leo Gaucho expressed interest in becoming a natural player and competing in the uniform of the Indonesian national team.
He feels very comfortable in Indonesia and wants to contribute to the country.
Leo Gaucho joined Borneo FC at the start of the 2024/2025 season. He started his career very attractive.
The Brazilian player scored three goals and led Borneo FC to the 2024 President’s Cup final.
For the 2024/2025 League 1 season, which has played nine matches, Leo Gaucho has scored six goals and also scored two goals in two of Borneo FC’s matches in the ASEAN Club Championship 2024/2025.
This Brazilian player has no Indonesian descent or blood. However, he admitted that he was ready to become a natural player.
However, the conditions that he must fulfill in order to go through the process of nationalization have not been met.
Leo Gaucho must stay in Indonesia for at least five years. It is ready to go through the process.
“I would like if Indonesia wants to make me a natural player, for me it is very possible because I am very comfortable here,” said Leo Gaucho on a podcast on Transfermarkt Indonesia’s YouTube channel.

The Borneo FC forward is very interested in strengthening the Indonesian national team because he feels comfortable and loves the atmosphere of his country’s football.
