Iranian President: Iran’s response to Israeli attacks depends on Israel’s willingness to cease fire
The “type and strength” of Iran’s response to Israel’s “aggression” on its territory depends on Israel’s attitude toward ceasefire efforts in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, Iranian President Masoud Peszekjyan said. in Tehran on Sunday.
According to the statement issued by the president’s office, he also said at the government meeting that Iran will not leave any attack on its territory without retaliation.
Peszeskján said that if Israel accepts the ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon and “stops killing the oppressed and innocent people of the region”, it can influence the type of response that Iran will give him the attacks.
In late October, the Israeli army officially admitted that it had attacked military targets in Iranian territory in retaliation for previous Iranian missile attacks. After that Iran threatened severe retaliation.
Masúd Peszeskján now called the United States and Western European countries false in their approach to the crisis affecting the Middle East region, and he said that Washington was particularly encouraging war tensions in many parts of the world.
