Rizieq Shihab did not participate in the 411 action calling for the arrest of Fufufafa

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —

Former leader of the Islamic Defender Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab he will not participate in the Operation 411 which is held by several Islamic groups to persuade the owner of the Fufufafa account to be arrested.

Action coordinator Buya Husein said Rizieq was not in Indonesia. Therefore, Rizieq did not participate directly in the show.

“No, he is still in Mecca,” Husein said via a short message to CNNDonesia.comMonday (4/11).

Nevertheless, Rizieq fully supports the 411 movement. Through the video shared by Husein, Rizieq invited Muslims to join the demonstration that will be held in front of the Palace of the King sitting in Jakarta.

Husein said several religious leaders would also participate in Operation 411 demanding the arrest of Fufufafa. Some of them are preachers who are near Rizieq.

“Habib Muhammad Al-Atthas, KH Ahmad Sobri Lubis, KH Awit Masyhuri, Ust. Slamet Ma’arif (USM), Ust. Asep Syarifuddin, and others,” he said.
The Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI) and several major Islamic organizations will hold the 411th action today. The action was done in front of the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

They demanded that the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, be arrested. They also demanded the arrest of the owner of the Fufufafa account.
Fufufafa is a social media account on the Kaskus platform.

This account was widely discussed because it spread hate speech against President Prabowo Subianto several years ago. The account is believed to belong to Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. However, Gibran did not admit that the account was his.
