Taking advantage of this Double 11, I was thinking of upgrading my studio to a wireless keyboard. I saw the refurbished 3104 PRO from GANSS, available in black and white, and got it for just over 100 at a discount.
I have several computers in my studio, so I bought one for black and white. The black version of the 2.4G adapter is also white.
What draws me to this keyboard is the row of function keys in the upper right corner, a volume rocker that can be pressed, and four customizable buttons.
The traditional status indicator light is smartly arranged in the upper left corner, and there is a gap between the ESC and F fields. This design is still very practical, not only preserving The standard format and functions 104, but also adds a lot of standard buttons.
In the middle of the top there is a Type-C charging port, which can be used with a wire when connected to a computer. The 2.4G adapter is stored here, and the mode switch is on the other side.
The foot support at the bottom has 2 levels.
The accessory also comes with 4 additional keycaps, made of two-color PBT technology, which are not easy to be oiled and are more durable.
In terms of hot swapping, it is still compatible with the classic 3-pin / 5-pin base plate, and most of the available shafts can be replaced freely. From here you can also see the quiet cotton inside the keyboard, which has 4 layers of sound deadening filling.
When I was pulling it out, I found that the shaft seats of the two keyboard base plates were a little loose When I was pulling out the keys, sometimes the grooves would come together. Both have this problem, the white spaces are especially loose. Maybe it has something to do with the shaft.
Ready to use. The keyboard and keycap technology should be the same. However, when the lights are turned off, the white model looks more comfortable. Which one you choose will depend on your needs.
The keyboard can perform many functions through the Fn key combination, and the triangle on the right can change the lighting effect scheme with one click. If you long press Fn, you can easily check the current battery level As shown in the picture above, after pressing, the lights 1-8 in the digital area will light up, and 9 and 0 out, indicating that the power of the keyboard is about 80%.
As for drivers, the functions are very mature. The first is the customization function of the button In addition to Fn, buttons including the rotation of the volume knob can be set, and key Fn combinations can be defined one by one. Many key combinations, functions, and even macros can be freely used. In terms of lighting effects, GANSS 3104 PRO also has comprehensive functions. It is divided into several pages. The lighting user interface allows you to set the lighting individually for each button. The interface will also display real-time lighting effects when connected via a wireless connection (wireless connection does not have this function). There is also a musical rhythm, which can simulate oscilloscope effects based on computer audio.
You can even change between several key response times and set them according to your own usage habits and shaft characteristics.
The driving function and the lighting effect are very good Are all keyboard circles wrapped like this nowadays? If you want to talk about the gap with first-rate manufacturers, the most intuitive thing is that the maximum brightness of the lamp will be lower. There are other small details that are not a problem.
In general, the GANSS 3104 PRO keyboard completely retains the functions and layout of the 104 configuration, but adds several additional custom keys such as a volume knob. In addition, the driver is powerful, the lighting effect options are complete, and the hand feel is very good. It is suitable for gaming and office work. It’s just that the tension between the shaft and the bottom plate can be improved a little, and it would be perfect.
