The first plays an Indian tailor who wreaks havoc in a Venetian town. The second, a young man who wants to realize his dream. In the middle, the rivalry between their respective families, soon at loggerheads due to mutual cut-throat competition. This is the seventh season of the series.

The story takes off in the North-East, more precisely in Veneto, in Bassano del Grappain the province of Vicenza. The Mampresol tailoring shop has always been a point of reference for the inhabitants. Over the decades it has seen several generations pass through its shop, satisfying the requests of loyal customers and offering impeccable service.
Mrs. Mina, her son Orlando and her son Matteo work there (Pierpaolo Spollon), who he raised alone. Matthew is a boy with the dream of becoming a designer stated. He would like to publish his first graphic novel and in the meantime helps out in the family business.
Among their most important clients is Serena Ravagnin, a young stylist bizarre and extravagant who turns to Mampresol to transform her sketches into unique dresses, from a thousand and one nights. The arrival of the rival family with the Deepti tailor shop
Business goes well and without any particular shocks until a new tailoring shop opens in Bassano. Deepti’s Tailor it does not choose a location at random, but rather settles in the same street where Mampresol is located. The new tailors are Dev Kuhmar, his sister Rani (Beatrice Sandri) and his uncle Rasmeh (Kabir Bedi) and in a short time the balance changes.
The Kuhmar family, of Indian origin, has at least as much experience as the Mampresols. They have always been tailors and among their ancestors there are those who even dressed Gandhi. Since his arrival in Bassano del Grappa, offers the same service at much lower prices than rivals anda detail that is not entirely negligible, has a vast assortment of Indian fabrics, bright, original fabricsdecidedly less ordinary and traditional than those available to Mampresol. What happens, therefore, is that the revenues of the historic tailor’s shop begin to suffer from competition.
Serena Ravagnin’s flight to Deepti’s Tailor exacerbates the climate of uncertainty. Indian tailors will make the clothes for his fashion show. At this point, it is necessary to take action. Orlando devises a plan to spy on his opponents’ moves. He convinces his son Matteo to infiltrate the rival tailor’s shop and then report the most important information and put them offside.
Matteo and Rani, a thwarted love
Matteo begins to frequent her and discovers, however, that both families are two sides of the same coin. They pursue common goals, are proud of their work and want to grow more and more. Above all he has a strong interest in Rani and little by little the relationship between the two goes beyond simple professional collaboration.
Dev is not at all happy with the union and even Matteo’s family would not look favorably on their relationship. In the meantime, however, Matteo must stem his father’s thirst for revenge. With a trick Orlando manages to introduce a carpet into the Kuhmars’ tailoring shop. The carpet is full of mothswho quickly take over the clothes kept in the shop, in particular those from Serena Ravagnin’s fashion show.
It is a complete disaster and the consequences will be serious both economically and in terms of image. There Deepti’s Tailor risks losing credibility. The shooting of the film, produced by Pepito in collaboration with Rai Fiction, took place in Vicenza. In contra’ del Monte is the building where the fabric shops were rebuilt and some outdoor scenes were filmed in Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Matteotti, at the Teatro Olimpico and at Villa Valmarana dei Nani.
The director is Alessandro Angelini, who has already directed TV series and films including Anything can happen, Vincenzo Malinconico, unsuccessful lawyer, Laura’s luck e Califano. The cast is completed by Valeria De Michele, Riccardo Maria Manera, Licia Navarrini, Nicola Pannelli, Brayan K Paaris and Clotilde Sabatino.
