“Mr. Mitsotakis told in his interview with SKAI the story of a Greece in which everything is going well and will get better. This Greece does not exist in real life” he says in a statement SYRIZA.
“Mr. Mitsotakis insists on confronting 2019 and not the needs of society in 2024, trying to make the little he promises look like a lot. We remind him that:
The tax burden on citizens has soared.
The precision in food, electricity, housing, health and many other aspects of daily life is suffocating society, despite the beautification attempted by the ND government with the selective use of economic indicators.
Mr. Mitsotakis declares himself an advocate of free collective bargaining, but at the same time promotes the regulation of the minimum wage by the state, for the “protection” of workers.
The prime minister promises to boost incomes, but his government owes an explanation for the very low purchasing power of workers, an issue he has studiously avoided raising, as well as making commitments to improve.
As for the course of SYRIZA, it will be judged by the Greek people when the time comes and not by Mr. Mitsotakis, who “covered up” his responsibility for the huge wiretapping scandal, just as the site of the tragedy in Tempi was covered up and the burials of criminal liability and the mistakes that led to it.
And, finally, Mr. Mitsotakis, the extension of the timetable on the metro routes is not the end, no matter how much it makes you happy” he notes.
