Former MP Fares Saeed explains, in an interview with Debate Lebanon, that the Jbeil region is a mixed region, and that everyone is fully aware of its clear political situation, but that he also wants the area not to get into any problems between its residents. and those who are displaced, and the Amal movement is also working towards this.

He emphasizes that “the debate did not touch the political situation, but was limited to the issue of displaced people, and he believes that the problems that appear with the issue of those who his dismissal was limited to Jbeil, “emphasizing that “there is none. Instead, the issue is the result of real estate disputes, but with the expectation that if problems occur, efforts are being coordinated in different categories to avoid them.”

He says, “In the area of ​​Jbeil, there are many Shiite towns, and they are full of people, and the roads are full. In order to prevent and anticipate anything, this meeting took place, putting her in a position natural, and has nothing to do with the political issue at all.”

As to whether the meeting had anything to do with what the security forces did to remove violations in Afqa a few days ago, he said “the discussion on this topic expanded, but it did not go into in detail, but he dealt with the issue of the abstract in general.”

He hoped that “all the forces in Jbeil would respect the equation of coexistence,” pointing to “a successful effort he made in the desert of Jbeil, which all the forces still respect, and which contained the clearest images of solidarity with those displaced in exchange for it. the highest standards of adherence to the law and respect for individual and private property.”
