So that “every woman feels like a queen”

The story begins with two young girls standing in front of the Wellclinic in Warsaw, dreaming of one day being able to afford a facial treatment here. Then a cut and an adult woman greets her customers in her own beauty studio in Hörde, while the other jets through Hollywood to negotiate contracts with famous cosmetics companies for the same Hörde studio. The two girls from back then and the women today are called Magdalena Strzelecka and Aleksandra Witkowska, their salon is called Shatiel Beauty Atelier and the cosmetics brand is called Dermalactives.

The complete package
The idea for the salon came to the friends when they had long been able to pay for the treatments of their girls’ dreams. However, in order to get all the applications they wanted, they had to drive through Dortmund. No one offered the complete package they envisioned. They then developed their own concept with the aim of “making every woman feel like a queen and every man like a king,” says Strzelecka. Manicures, pedicures, waxing and epilation are part of the program here, as are massages, facial treatments and permanent make-up.

Free treatment for hair loss due to illness
The owners have hired Larysa Kalakovska for permanent make-up. For example, the expert offers to tattoo lips, eyeliner or eyebrows. Inspired by a friend who suddenly lost all her body hair at the age of 18, the managing directors came up with something special in this context. Once a month they offer free permanent make-up for a person affected by this type of hair loss, which is also known to affect many who have to undergo chemotherapy for cancer. Strzelecka hopes that this offer will ensure that those who have had such a treatment will look in the mirror in the morning and notice: “My face has expression again, has contour again.”

The Bridal Concierge
Another special campaign is gradually starting in the salon on Hörder Phoenixseeallee. In the first room on the right there is a clothes rack with wedding dresses from Sina Collection. According to Strzelecka, the managing directors set up the cooperation with the Leverkusen brand in order to expand their idea of a bridal concierge so that the bride “really leaves ready from top to bottom, from manicure and pedicure, to facial and make-up,” explains Strzelecka. This also applies to the bride’s friends and relatives. “In Dortmund I was simply missing a place where all the girls could get ready together.” In this context, the dress is an offer, not a must.

Event am Black Friday
In order to do something good for their customers, Strzelecka and Witkowska are inviting people to an event at their premises at Hörder Phoenixseealle 143 on Black Friday, which takes place on November 29th this year. Here they want to present their cosmetic brand Dermalactives and offer bracelet making with “Magic Pearls”.
