US President Joe Biden used colorful language when criticizing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his supporters.
– I’m serious, these are the kind of guys you’d like to slap the arses, Biden said, according to ABC News.
Moments earlier, Biden had talked about Trump and “his Republican friends” who “want huge tax cuts for the rich.”
Biden made his comments Saturday while addressing members of a local carpenters union in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Biden intensified his comment by gritting his teeth. If you don’t see the embed below, you can watch it by pressing here.
A special episode
Biden made his comments just days after Trump elevated his Tuesday gaffe as part of his campaign.
Biden called Trump supporters “garbage” on Tuesday while speaking to Latino voters. He later explained that he was only referring to the comedian Tony Hinchcliffen to hate speech.
The president’s comment made headlines, which Trump took pleasure in.
On Wednesday, Trump climbed into a garbage truck with his campaign logo on the side.
– 250 million people are not garbage. I can tell you who the real scum are, but we won’t say that, Trump said.
According to the British newspaper Guardian, the number mentioned by Trump seems to roughly correspond to the population of the United States, if the number of people who voted for Biden in the previous elections is subtracted from it.
