Protest camp in Munich: Politician Spaenle calls for eviction – Munich

The anti-Semitism representative of the Bavarian state government, Ludwig Spaenle, is calling for the evacuation of the pro-Palestinian demonstration camp in front of Munich’s Ludwig Maximilians University. The reason is that the operators of the camp have direct contact with suspected members of the terrorist organization Hamas. This was recently shown by records from the specialist information center for right-wing extremism in Munich (firm), about which the South German newspaper reported.

“The time for tolerance and accepting support for terrorists is over,” said Spaenle. “The state capital of Munich must have the so-called Palestine camp evacuated immediately.” The constitutionally protected freedom of expression and assembly, which the camp operators make use of, would be “trampled” in view of these facts. Hamas glorifies violence and has subjected people to violence and murder. “Incitement, glorification of violence and incitement to aggression and murder have no place in Germany and should not be tolerated,” explained the Anti-Semitism Commissioner.

The evacuation of the square and a judicial review of the process by the public prosecutor’s office and the judiciary are necessary. The district administration department in the state capital is obliged to clear the camp immediately. “We must not stand by and see how the glorification of violence and terror is promoted here,” said Spaenle.
