Dhamar – Saba Today, the martyr anniversary activities for the year 1446 were opened with a central event in the province of Dhamar.
During the event, in the presence of the President of the Governorate’s Court of Appeal, Judge Mujahid Al-Amdi, Shura Council members Hassan Abdel-Razzaq, Muhammad Al-Fatimi and Abdo Al-Alawi, as well as the two Undersecretaries of the Governorate, Muhammad Abdel-Razzaq and Mahmoud Al-Jabin, Director of the General Authority for Endowments Branch, Faisal Al-Hatfi, pointed out the virtue and meaning of martyrdom, the status of the martyr and the path of victory and pride trodden through the blood of martyrs.
He pointed out the importance of educating society in the culture of jihad and martyrdom for the sake of God and taking positions of honor in defense of religion and homeland and for the victory of the nation’s causes, with the Palestinian issue in the foreground stand.
He explained that loyalty to the martyrs is reflected in always caring for and visiting their families, especially on this occasion.
He called for holding activities and events this week as a platform to be inspired by the positions and sacrifices of the martyrs and follow their journey.
Al-Hatfi announced the launch of a convoy honoring the martyrs and their victims, the “Convoy of Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad,” to support military industrialization.
For his part, the director of the Dhamar branch of the General Authority for the Welfare of the Families of the Martyrs, Hashem Al-Hamzi, noted the importance of celebrating the martyr’s anniversary to remember the martyrs, their positions and donations Principles and values for which they sacrificed their lives.
He explained that the martyr carries principles, values and morals within him and is based on a sacred goal, namely sacrifice to God Almighty.
He viewed the commemoration of the occasion as a revival of the spirit of martyrdom and its high status, pointing out the importance of following the path of the martyrs, championing their cause and fulfilling their blood.
He called for the continuation of general mobilization, preparation, equipment, training and mobilization for military courses, the strengthening of cultural consciousness in returning to the leadership of God Almighty, the vigilance of enemy conspiracies and the activation of the economic boycott of American Zionist goods.
Al-Hamzi explained that the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons is working hard to fulfill its responsibilities to the families of martyrs and missing persons in several areas of rehabilitation, care and economic empowerment, including that of itself Projects carried out monthly, quarterly and seasonally throughout the year.
He referred to field visits to the families of the martyrs and the presentation of gifts on the occasion, urging everyone to participate in the visitation program as a minimum of duty and appreciation for the sacrifices of their families.
The event was attended by executives, local leaders, security and mobilization leaders, and community leaders.
