This is what Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski said at a briefing in Parliament when asked if he approved the entry of Rumen Ovcharov into the Supervisory Board of Lukoil Neftohim, which the media announced yesterday.

Ovcharov will represent the interests of the state, which has a golden share in the oil company.

When asked how long he will endure the cascade of votes that GERB is preparing for him, Oresharski explained: “I rather think how long GERB will endure, we are resilient.”

The prime minister also commented on the accusations from the former rulers that he had fallen into international isolation as follows: “Only out of respect for the citizens who support GERB, I would not tell anything about my impressions during my first meetings with prime ministers regarding the previous international non-isolation, if you know what I mean’.

A journalist asked Oresharski to comment on the attacks against the president in the media. However, the Prime Minister preferred to maintain hygiene and replied: “Regarding the President, I think it does not affect the executive power and I would not allow myself to comment in any way on actions of the presidential institution that have no relation to the executive power.”
