An explosion occurred at noon on Thursday in an apartment on the third floor, on Kifisias and Arkadia streets in Ampelokipis.
A seriously injured woman was freed, while 23 firefighters and 6 vehicles remain on the scene.

Information indicates that a body, most likely a man, was found.
According to information from the Fire Department, there is no fire in the apartment, however there is a large mobilization of it. At the same time, the Canine Search and Rescue Team of the 1st EMAK has also gone to the scene.
The explosion appears to be related to the gas network, while it caused panic in the wider area.
