The Entente Basket-ball Fourchambault Nevers (EBFN) organized an internship for its young graduates during the second week of the All Saints’ Day holidays, at the Léo-Lagrange gymnasium.
On the program for the trainees, basketball of course, in the morning, but also other activities, for EBFN graduates, from U9 to U18, joined in the morning by children from the EMS (Municipal Sports School ). Every day, around thirty young people were counted.
“The goal was to raise awareness among young people about basketball in all its facets, team play, fundamentals, but also refereeing and scorers,” explains Christophe Lagoutte, employed coach.
“But also offer them awareness of other activities and causes. »
Pink October and animal causes
Each participant in the course donated €5, donated to Foutu cancer 58, as part of Pink October.
Furthermore, on Tuesday October 29, the licensees went to the Beauregard shelter, in Saint-Éloi, to raise awareness of the animal cause, and in particular abandonment.
Other afternoons were devoted to various activities, led by Antoine Lagoutte, as part of his training in DEUST animation and management of physical, sporting and cultural activities.
The Fourchambault Nevers Basketball Agreement continues its expansion
On the menu, a “potato barter” outing, during which the children had to exchange, with traders, a candle for one or other objects.
But also a multi-activity tournament, which allowed them to discover ultimate and library (derived from baseball), combined with basketball and relay races.
The young basketball players were supervised by Antoine and Christophe Lagoutte, Milo Lonjon, BPJEPS basketball apprentice, Tiffany Roussel, and Kévin Amelaine, president of the EBFN.
