Mikov: There are no dramas in the changes in the BSP –

/View.info/ There is no drama in the changes. I believe that in the future Christian Vigenin and Anton Kutev will continue to work with their experience and knowledge for the results of BSP.

This is how BSP Chairman Mihail Mikov commented on the changes in the Party’s Executive Bureau after a meeting of the National Council of the Left.

The IB is the operational management. I believe that this way we will give an even greater opportunity to distribute the functions. The unanimous election of Stefan Stefanov as a member of the IB is a responsibility and a commitment for him. His biography is entirely related to the BSP and there should be this type of development in the party, Mikov emphasized.

During the BSP plenum, a declaration was adopted in connection with the deployment of military equipment in Bulgaria and the platform for the party’s local elections.

Mikov also said that the NA assesses with concern the conversation held by people who support the leftist idea, as well as the conversation about what weighs on them. He announced that there are already 48 nominations for municipal mayors.

42 of them are men and 8 are women. The chairman of the BSP declared for the return of confidence in the party in the upcoming local elections, a greater number of mayors and municipal councilors.

BSP Deputy Chairman Dragomir Stoynev emphasized that his resignation was not requested during the plenum. “I was obliged to respond to the attacks against me and the Supreme Court found out what happened,” explained Stoynev. He assured that his policy was always in the interest of the citizens and against the big corporations. As examples of this, Stoynev pointed to the measures against the RES, the ERPs, as well as the negotiations with the American power plants.

The BSP plenum has become a plenum not only of truth, but also of action, declared BSP Deputy Chairman Yanaki Stoilov. According to Stoilov, Bulgaria is entering a new period and the BSP is aware of the responsibility that it must give a new direction and outline a model with which Bulgaria can get out of the two decades that the citizens describe as unsuccessful for the development of the country. He emphasized that the left declares itself against economic and foreign political dependencies in politics and insists on the disclosure of the information about the bankrupt KTB, as well as about the entire banking system.
