The Walt Disney and Pixar companies are currently preparing a sequel to the hit full-length animated film “Goblins OOD”.
However, it is not yet known when the film is scheduled to be released.
It is known that the director of the tape will be Pete Docter, who is the creator of the latest animated hit “Up”. The original film, which tells about the adventures of the good goblins Sully and Mike, their friend Boo and the evil goblin Randall, was released in 2001. The computer animation with a record budget of 115 million dollars brought in almost five times more revenue, thus becoming one of Pixar’s most successful projects. The record – both in terms of budget and revenue – was broken in 2008 by the full-length animation “Wall-E”. The Pixar and Disney franchise grossed nearly $535 million.
