Fortuna Düsseldorf was the leader of the 2nd league for weeks – but that will be over for the time being this weekend. The performance in the 0-1 loss in Münster was far from league leader class – and the BILD scores also show that.
Florian Kastenmeier
With his saves, the keeper single-handedly saved his team from a slap. The only player in normal form. Note 2
Matthias Zimmermann
One could say that after several weeks on the six, he might have forgotten how to play right-back. Lots of mistakes with the ball, very weak in duels. Note 5
Andre Hoffmann
Had the best chance of making it 1-1 when Schenk made a great save. No safety factor at the back, but also no big mistakes like almost everyone else’s. Note 4

Tim Oberdorf
Practically the same applies to him as to Hoffmann – the central defenders are currently very poor when it comes to counterattack susceptibility. Note 4
Emmanuel Iyoha
Last season he was statistically the best dribbler in Europe – now he doesn’t even go into one-on-one situations. Totally discouraged performance, that was nothing. Note 5
Giovanni Haag
The Frenchman was brought in to dictate the Fortuna midfield – but this part of the team becomes a weak point. No accents at the front, huge holes at the back. Note 5

Isak Johannesson
80 percent of duels won, 85 percent of passes received and four assists for shots on goal are decent figures – but Iceland-Isak also received significantly less than usual in Münster. Note 4
Felix Klaus
It’s unbelievable how many of the balls the right winger lost in Münster. Prepared Vermeij’s top chance in the first half, his only really good action. Note 5
Shinta Appelkamp
On his 24th birthday, Thioune gave him the starting eleven comeback – but Shinta didn’t give himself the gift. Very weak performance, lots of ball losses. So Appelkamp has to go back to the bench. Note 5
Myron van Brederode
After the magical attempts in the last two weeks, he also failed in Münster. No dangerous actions, no courage – one of the many failures. Note 5
Vincent Vermeij
The Kownacki representative had to equalize in the first half, and he missed another great chance at the end. Note 5

Tim Rossmann (60th f. Hague)
He gained a little more steam on the left, but his many crosses didn’t arrive. Note 4
Dzenan Pejcinovic (60. f. Iyoha)
Lots of unfortunate actions, plus no danger of scoring. Note 5
Danny Schmidt (77th for van Brederode), Valgeir Lunddal (83rd for Zimmermann) and Jon Niemiec (83rd for Klaus) came into the game too late for an evaluation.
Daniel Thioune
The coach tried everything and kept giving his players new instructions – verbally and on pieces of paper. But the team is currently not doing what Thioune wants. After things went great for so long, he is now faced with perhaps his trickiest Fortuna task. Note 4
