Last Tuesday, the Rimini municipal council approved the documents relating to the program agreement for the development of the project called “Borgo Marina Si-CURA”. An agreement that will now be signed between the Municipality of Rimini and the Emilia-Romagna Region, aimed at an overall integrated prevention intervention in the territory of Borgo Marina, an area connecting the railway station, the historic center and Piazza Ferrari.
The project involves the redevelopment and refunctionalization of the spaces and furnishing elements of Piazza Ferrari, together with the strengthening of the public lighting system and video surveillance systems in the area. In particular, the intervention will guarantee, in Piazza Ferrari, the improvement of accesses, green spaces and play areas, the realignment of the benches present and the positioning of equipment to promote cultural and social entertainment activities.
