From 10 to 13 December 2024 at the Agricultural University – PlovdivLuban Workshop will be held the third edition of Academy of Entrepreneurship V agriculture. The organizer is the Center for the Promotion of Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between China and the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CNSCSCIE).
Among the objectives of the Academy of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture are the development of youth entrepreneurship and of newly created or young companies in the field of agriculture (food, beverages, cosmetics, restaurants), as well as providing support to innovative ideas that develop the potential of agriculture. It focuses on the development and implementation of current trends in the sector, including issues of digitization in agriculture, the use of artificial intelligence and technology, and current challenges.
Participation in the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Academy is completely free and all participants will receive a certificate of successfully completed training. It is necessary to apply with a project idea in one of the fields mentioned above. The project idea does not have to be fully developed; it will be further developed during the Academy itself and presented on the last day of the program to a jury that will determine the winner of the edition.

The winner of each edition will receive a financial award in the amount of BGN 5,000 with which to implement the project for which he applied.
The application deadline is December 5, 2024.
There are no hard restrictions in the target group for participants (age, place of residence, professional development). It is only necessary that the participants are at least 18 years of age. Young people who are interested in the topics described above and have a project idea can be involved – students who have reached the age of 18, students, farmers, young entrepreneurs, as well as people who are starting or have already started their own business in one of the the listed areas.
The academy provides a high-quality training program from professional speakers and mentors from all over the country, covering various aspects of entrepreneurship, financing, risk management, marketing strategies and other topics important to start-ups.
