FKH closes training

SOCCER: On Sunday, FKH will face Lillestrøm away, in a match that could be absolutely decisive in terms of avoiding relegation.

Before the game, both teams have 24 points, but FKH is ahead, Lillestrøm in the qualification place due to better goal difference. If one of the teams takes the three points on Sunday, the winning team will take a long step away from direct relegation.

The background to the game is that Lillestrøm got their first win since July last weekend, when they beat Odd 3-0. On the other hand, FKH have not scored in the last five matches and have won only one of the last twelve matches.

Now FKH have chosen to take action ahead of Sunday’s fateful game. When FKH trains in Storhall Karmøy on Friday morning, the training is closed to the public and the media.

In general, FKH training sessions are open to everyone.

The club explains the closure as follows:

– The choice of Vea must be related to the conditions of the track at Haugebanen, and training is closed because you want to give the players as much peace as possible, media manager Runar Nordvik told Haugesund’s Avis.

FKH also says that the players will usually be available to the media after training.
