Definition |
National and enforceable identifier, distributed during registration with the order (or with the SSA). Identification of the liberal activity distributed during registration with Health Insurance, allowing invoicing to be generated. Identifier of legal entities (legal FINESS) and establishments (geographic FINESS) carrying an authorization or approval.
Features |
Unique and assigned for life. Depends on the place of exercise, the legal status of the activity. A liberal professional has as many AM numbers as liberal activities. Unique and definitively assigned to each legal entity and each establishment.

Must be present on prescriptions and care sheets. ANS publication service (FINESS directory).

Professions included in the RPPS Self-employed health professionals registered with Health Insurance? Legal entities and health, social, medico-social and training establishments for professions in these sectors.

11 numeric characters (the last being the Luhn key) not significant. 9 numeric characters, identical to one of the ADELI numbers of the PS. 9 numeric characters, the first two digits designating the department of location.
