With the presidential elections in the United States, American society is increasingly divided to the point that some citizens only want to live with people who think like them. In Idaho, 150 families seeking a Republican environment have settled. They all share the same conservative values.
In the ultra-conservative state of Idaho, Mark Fitzpatrick is a real estate agent. He helped Republicans across the country secede. Over the past three years, he has helped 150 conservative families flee their Democratic states. His clients can no longer stand living with other Americans whom they consider far too left-wing. Phil is one of them, he explains: “I didn’t leave California, California left me. The State itself, its management, its policy, its spending, taxes, everything is going down the drain. We couldn’t take it anymore.”
