Ecuador will celebrate a national holiday on the occasion of the Day of the Dead and the independence of Cuenca. Initially, the holiday was to begin this Friday, November 1, but after the announcement by President Daniel Noboa, it is extended from Thursday, October 31 to Monday, November 4.
