Viktor Brand (53) travels this week in a new episode of ‘Mr. Frank Visser’ to Eindhoven, where the young couple Mariska and Roni bought their first house. Unbeknownst to them, the house has a serious moisture problem and that is causing a number of problems. They believe that it is something that Ronald’s handyman should know about. However, the viewers agree with the young couple and stand up for the worker at X.
“I felt like hell on earth”
When Mariska and Roni want to install a new floor in their house, Ronald starts by demolishing the ceramic floor that was installed before. He soon encountered a damp problem when they were demolished so he was unable to install the new floor. As a result, the young couple had to move to a house without a floor with the four-month-old baby. “I felt like it was hell on earth (…) Very sad,” says Roni.
On the other hand, Ronald does not agree with what the young couple says. According to him, they are the ones who need to contact a moisture expert and solve the problem before he can finish the job. “Definitely a house of horrors for me. (…) It has to end at some point,” he says.
In the end, Ronald installed a PVC floor after all, after a moisture expert, whom Roni and Mariska had engaged, said that this would not be a problem. In the end, according to the couple, this would have caused problems so they want Ronald to solve the problems or return the 16,000 euros paid.
After Mr. Frank Visser visited the home with a moisture expert, he will make a decision later in the day after the hearing. According to him, Ronald has done everything he can to warn the couple and, according to the legislation, that the moisture problem is a problem that Roni and Mariska must solve and pay for. for themselves.
After the decision, Viktor asks both parties what they think of the decision. “I did everything I was supposed to do and I’m glad I did,” said Ronald, who no longer has any charges hanging over his pants. And the other party is a little relieved “At least we know where we stand now,” Roni points out.
Viewers on X are standing up for Ronald’s employee en masse. They completely agree with Mr. Frank Visser and tell us that the young couple still have a lot to learn.
