Last weekend the Rothrist theater company celebrated the premiere of this year’s production. Under the direction of Hans Koolen, the actors and actresses brought an entertaining gangster comedy with a few surprises to the stage with “alli und noch niemert”.
It all starts with a phone call between Selma (Svetlana Schwegler) and Alfons Frei. She gives him the final instructions for her visit to Gaby Bucher (Claudia Boutellier) in her temporary guesthouse right next to the museum, which is currently exhibiting the coveted Sun Diamond and attracting one or two thiefs. After the welcome from the President of the Rothrist Theater Society, Christoph Müller, the story really took off. The audience eagerly watched what the amateur actors performed on stage. What’s the deal with the steering wheel that Basti (Marco Swiatek) brings into the room and what is Mrs. Obermüllerhauser (Heidi Kuert) doing in the living room again? When Mietta (Sarah Di Marco) shows up, the confusion is complete. Can the director, Mr. Messerli (Nico Fankhauser), solve the whole thing? Or might Gretli (Cornelia Bader), Gaby’s neighbor, help? Theater fans can find out during the remaining performances. (cmu)
