Indiana Jones Game Pledges to Protect Dogs: A Family-Friendly Twist Compared to Wolfenstein

In MachinesGames’ previous “Wolfenstein” game, the jocks exploded in place.

In the game “Wolfestein” Swedish MachineGames, dogs can get really bad. However, that will not be the case in the Indiana Jones game of the game developer “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” where the player cannot harm dogs at all.

– Indiana Jones is a dog person, says MachineGames creative director Jens Andersson in a new interview with IGN.

A claim that is actually similar to a sequence in “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” where it was revealed that he took the nickname “Indiana” from the family dog. As a result, Indiana Jones will not be able to shoot any enemy dogs in the game. Instead, the goblins will only run away if guns are pointed at them.

– It is obvious that this is a little different from how it is in “Wolfenstein”, where the dog explodes instead, says Jens Andersson.

According to him, the decision is because Indiana Jones is a more family-friendly brand.

– How do we do it in a good way? Yeah, through things like this. We have dogs as enemies, but you cannot harm the dogs. You scare them.

“Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will be released on December 9 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. A Playstation version will also be released sometime in early 2025.
