Eight health centers in the Valencia-Doctor Peset Department remain closed due to the storm

VALENCIA, 31 (EUROPA PRESS)

Eight health centers of the Valencia-Doctor Peset Health Department remain closed this Thursday as a result of DANA: Alfafar – including the Continuing Care Point -, Parque Alcosa, Sedaví, Benetússer, Castellar, Horno de Alcedo, La Torre and El Palmar, as reported by the Ministry of Health, which has added that activity will be restored as soon as possible.

On the other hand, attention has been recovered in the Pinedo center – with Pediatrics -, El Saler and El Perellonet during their usual hours.

In the case of Benetússer, a health post has been set up at the Blasco Ibáñez school. The population of La Torre can be treated at the San Marcelino health center and that of El Palmar in the center of Perellonet.

For their part, the health centers in the city of Valencia operate normally. The Department of Health will attend to urgent cases both in the Hospital and in the Health Care Point (PAS) located in the Fuente de San Luis health center (Valencia), which has been reinforced.

This measure is taken to guarantee the safety of patients and professionals and responds to the damage caused to the facilities by the heavy rains, “which make it unfeasible to provide health care under conditions,” the same sources have added.
