LAMEZIA TERME – Tuesday 5 November “Inail Insieme” stops in Calabria, the series of meetings promoted by the General Director, Marcello Fiori, to start a discussion with local realities on the most effective strategies for combating accidents at work and professional diseases . The day’s program includes a meeting with the regional director of the Institute, Teresa Citraro, the management staff and the local trade union organisations, which will take place at the Inail Integrated Rehabilitation Center – Asp Cz. A visit to the facility will follow. The Calabrian stage is the eighth after those in Turin, Florence and Perugia, preceded by the meetings in Naples, Rome, Milan and L’Aquila before the summer break.
The integrated hub of Lamezia Terme. The Rectors of the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro and the University of Calabria of Cosenza, Giovanni Cuda and Nicola Leone, will be present at the visit of the Director General and the President of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto. Also present will be Giorgio Soluri, central director of prosthetic assistance and rehabilitation and Giovanna Tranfo, head of the medicine, epidemiology, occupational and environmental hygiene department. Located within the Fondazione Mediterranea Terina onlus, the integrated hub includes the multi-specialist diagnostic center of the Inail regional directorate, the complex rehabilitation structure of the local hospital and the branch of the prosthesis center in Vigorso di Budrio. Patients are followed with a global biopsycho-social approach that integrates technical, health, psychological and social aspects to achieve the highest possible level of autonomy and reintegration into society and the world of work.
“The person at the center.” As in previous events, the objective of the meetings in the area is to put “the person at the centre”, the inspiring principle of Inail’s policies and activities. Among the fundamental themes of the discussion are the changes taking place in the world of work linked to technological innovation and the green transition.
