Audit report
In architecture, the license cycle includes an inspection report. The governing texts leave its definition relatively open, indicating that it corresponds to “personal written work (synthesis and reflection) on questions raised from the work already done, lessons received and / or internships that followed”. At Ensa Paris-Est, the study report takes the form of a preliminary research thesis. By conducting an original study, students demonstrate their ability to develop theoretical reflection and architectural discipline to study through writing. They develop an original problem based on freely chosen research objects and thus do reflective work on their own practice and approach to architecture. Considered an exercise over – attractive, the thesis is an opportunity to transfer the knowledge gained during the license cycle and allows one to get to know methodological tools and research processes that will be the basis for more substantial and challenging work in Master’s thesis.
