Mexico City. The Tax Administration Service (SAT) system has flaws, since in recent days it has been generating a massive revocation of electronic signatures, with the exception of those related to foreign trade, the agency reported.
”All electronic signatures related to foreign trade function normally. It is expected that the rest of the electronic signatures will be reestablished during the day. “Once the correct validity is restored, taxpayers who have seen their status modified will not need to carry out any additional procedures,” the agency indicated in a brief message.
A statement from the National Executive Committee (CEN) of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) addressed to the governing bodies of the federated colleges mentions that the failure has occurred in recent days and that it is being addressed.
“We have been in communication with SAT officials, who have officially confirmed to us that this situation is being addressed with the priority it deserves and that soon the status of said certificates will be reflected as active,” the organization mentioned.
“It will not be necessary for the taxpayer to present any case for clarification or go to the offices. We trust that this will be resolved as soon as possible, and we will continue to provide monitoring the problem and its solution,” he said.
