The Department of Public Space of the Elda City Council and the company Fobesa, winner of the street cleaning and MSW contract, is preparing the shipment of both the excavator and several auxiliary vehicles of the Eldense contract to travel to the different Valencian towns most affected by DANA with the aim of helping to alleviate the damage. caused by this devastating storm.
In this sense, the means assigned to the Elda contract will be used to collaborate in the cleaning tasks of all the sediments and remains carried by the terrible flood that has devastated the province of Valencia, as well as other municipalities and provinces of the peninsula during these last days, and which has caused more than a hundred deaths.
Thus, these Elda contract vehicles are ready to join in the next few hours the existing means in the Valencian municipalities to work together and try to restore normality after the tragedy experienced, where the effects caused by the floods have produced multitudes. of destruction in the streets and neighborhoods of different Valencian municipalities, especially in those close to the rivers that have overflowed, accumulating mud, stones, trees and vehicles that hinder the work of the police, firefighters, the UME and the different bodies to be able to bring aid and food to the affected people as many roads are still closed to traffic.
For all these reasons, the Elda City Council, in collaboration with the concessionaire company of the cleaning contract, Fobesa, has made these vehicles available to travel where it is a priority to try to provide the necessary help so that all those affected can recover as quickly as possible. soon possible of this tragedy due to a storm that is still hitting different autonomous communities throughout the country.
