NBA News: Bronny James scores his first NBA points
The dad was almost bursting with pride: Bronny James from the Los Angeles Lakers scored his first points in the NBA. And in his hometown of Cleveland too. “Seeing him score his first NBA goal in the arena he grew up in is an incredible moment,” said his father, teammate and basketball legend LeBron James.
Bronny James, who hadn’t played since making history alongside his superstar father in the Lakers’ season-opening win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, came onto the field in the final quarter to cheers from the Cleveland crowd. Fans probably remembered him watching Cavaliers games with his father on the floor as a child.

With a jump shot from around ten meters two minutes before the end, Bronny James scored his first NBA points; dad LeBron, who scored 26 points, watched the moment from the bench. But they couldn’t prevent bankruptcy – in the end, the Lakers lost 110:134 in Cleveland.
