The Municipality of Ioannina congratulates the iGEM IOANNINA 2024 interdisciplinary team at the University of Ioannina, which won the gold medal in the iGEM Synthetic Biology world competition, standing out among more than 400 team from all over the world.
The Municipality of Ioannina is proud to have contributed to this effort, confirming its commitment to supporting the student community, education and research, and especially the collaboration with the University of Ioannina, which will strengthen its transformation as well as our city’s role as a center of academic excellence.
