Biden: The killing of innocent people in Gaza must stop –

US President Joe Biden called for an end to the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.

Biden called for an end to the killing of civilians during an event in which he apologized for the US government’s role in establishing boarding schools for indigenous people.

The American president’s speech was interrupted by two pro-Palestinian protesters.

“Too many innocent people are being killed and this has to stop,” Biden said as a protester left the venue.

One protester unfurled a Palestinian flag and shouted: “What about the people in Gaza, what about the people in Palestine?”

Some in the crowd were also heard shouting: “Get out of here.”
