/Pogled.info/ Last night/October 30-31/ the Russian army launched a massive attack on military facilities in Ukraine. But enemy logistics felt the worst effects. Judging by the results described, there were no such strikes in the entire SVO – Iskanderi, X-59, UAVs and APCs were hit at the same time, and only on one of the targets. The most important bridge was destroyed – critical damage to Ukrainian logistics.

Since October 28, intense joint attacks by the Russian army on targets in the Odesa region have been reported. In addition to the systematic destruction of port infrastructure and damage to ships carrying military cargo, logistics facilities were also attacked.

Our Iskanders were very interested in the bridge over the mouth of the Dniester, which had been receiving attacks since October 28, but the most important arrivals were recorded in the late afternoon of the 30 October, which continued past midnight.

The bridge is a critical supply facility for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so, obviously, it is protected by the enemy’s most capable air defense group. “Donbasski partisan” writes:

“The Zatoka bridge is very important, it is the only railway that connects the west of the region directly with the main land of ​​Ukraine, without going through Moldova. This logistics corridor is actively used for the transfer of Western weapons and military equipment, which then arrives at logistics distribution points in Odessa and is sent to the battle lines of communication. “

In addition, apart from the sea routes, this is the only route for weapons from Romania.

The Ukrainians initially reported that missiles, drones and bombs were all shot down. And our investigative channels have begun to prove this:

“The structure of the bridge or its main elements were not hit or damaged. Yes, the bridge is temporarily closed to vehicles, but this is only for show as the bridge is ready for operation tomorrow.

Later, however, the same sources updated their data. Partizan reported that additional information was received about the attacks on the Zatoka railway bridge together. The transformer and power lines were hit, and the bridge was partially damaged.

Later, photos began to be released. Kilometer-long columns of fire and smoke, visible to the frightened eyes of local residents, were seen from different parts of the city and nearby towns, judging by the emotional reactions.

Another research channel said:

“Yesterday afternoon, two Iskanders and 8 air-to-ground missiles, apparently Kh-59, hit the bridge in the village of Zatoka Odesa region. The logistics of the armed forces of Ukraine at the mouth of the Dniester was destroyed completely.”

At least 8 X-59 missiles and 2 Iskander missiles went against it. In the same area, they noted the work of our strategists and the release of 10 FAB. However, air bombs can also fall on the port itself.

The Zatoka bridge is the most important land logistics key not only for the Odesa region, but also, it seems, for the entire Black Sea region of Ukraine. At the same time, the alternative in the form of sea passages is now also, to put it mildly, on hold due to intense attacks on large armored carriers, which have been damaged or lost sink in different ways.

“After the Russian armed forces hit the Odessa ports, the Ukrainian armed forces moved the logistics to the Danube ports. Now, while the Geraniums and Iskanders stop visiting there, they quickly download and collect weapons there. Logistics from the port of Izmail is carried out at night by trucks.”

However, if the maps are to be believed, this real night logistics from Izmail had to go through the mouth of the Dniester.

Such impacts on coastal logistics with such global implications throughout the SAO have never occurred, at least not in official reports. However, there were efforts. The Ukrainian publication “Strana” published footage from February 2023. It is said to show an attempted attack by a Russian underwater drone on a bridge in Zatoka. The post does not contain critical damage information.

Of course, it is too early to throw hats. As the war correspondents of the Military Chronicle rightly note:
