As you may know, One UI 7.0 was conspicuous by its absence during the previous Samsung Developers Conference which took place on October 3, 2024. The South Korean manufacturer justified the absence of its future overlay due to numerous delays in its development.
In any case, the firm should make up for it this November 21 during an unprecedented SDC organized in Seoul, South Korea. We already know that two keynotes are planned, and we imagine that one of them will be focused on the next version of One UI. If we are still waiting for the official presentation of the overlay, we have already been able to see it in action thanks to the indiscretions of several leakers and specialized media.
One UI 7.0 unveils its new design
Our colleagues on the site Android Headlines have decided to make their contribution with new images and video captures of One UI 7.0. As you can see in the photos below, we first notice that Samsung has reworked the logos of certain applications (Phone, Camera, Settings, Clock, etc.).
We also notice the presence of the logo of a new application called Cloud. We imagine that it will concentrate all of your files (photos, videos, contacts, messages, etc.) saved on the manufacturer’s cloud.

Another video shared by the American media allows us to very briefly see some new features of the interface. For example, there is the pill-shaped animation at the bottom of the screen for current activities (music playback, timer, voice recording, download). You can also admire the new two-page quick access panelone being dedicated to notifications, the other to quick settings. They are displayed depending on where you “pull” the screen down.

The most observant will have noticed the presence of a small Galaxy Buds icon in the music player. Probably a new shortcut to quickly disconnect/connect your wireless headphones.

Finally, Android Headlines has shared what appears to be a promotional image of the news parental control features of One UI 7.0. Thus, if the parents have decided to block app purchases, the child can make a request to proceed with the transaction. Parents will then be able to validate the request remotely or not.
