André Hazes expresses unconditional support for Roxeanne: ‘I support my sister in everything’

Rachel sent a letter of request to her son about this topic a month ago. She manages the André brand name, her husband, who died in 2004, and André’s father. He told his mother two weeks ago that he did not want to comply with her request.

“For the first time in my life, I’m André Hazes who has all his shit in order. Who has everything under control. And I won’t let him take that away from me anymore,” he tells our camera, visibly affected.

The singer, whose full name is André Gerardus Junior Hazes, is proud of his heritage. “I really think it’s an honor to carry that name. And I’m not doing anything that could harm that name. I won’t let that take away from me.”

Although he largely leaves the legal procedures to his team of lawyers, it is clear that the case does not affect him. “Fortunately I have a very good team of lawyers. They just fight among themselves,” said André. “I try to make a party out of everything in life and be very cheerful, but I haven’t found the fun in this one yet. When I talk about it, my heart beats faster because it just… it really touches me. and it hurts me a lot.”
