Fun turned to nightmare and laughter to panic. It is just before 2 in the morning, hundreds of students come out of a well-known club on Vouliagmeni Avenue.
There is a disturbance at the scene. Ambulances have been called to the scene, as 8 students have convulsions from drinking alcohol. The police are puzzled to see the minors being boarded in private buses without an escort, while dozens of others are outside the club in a drunken state. The father of a minor girl, speaking exclusively to MEGA, described what he saw when he arrived outside the store.
“Arriving there, I see a situation in which there are 4-5 buses carrying children, over 150 to 200 children outside on the terraces of Vouliagmeni sitting and waiting either for their parents or to board the buses. And there were also 1-2 ambulances which had apparently come to the site to pick up children who were not feeling well,” he said.
The first ambulance as seen in the exclusive video document obtained by MEGA leaves for the Children’s hospital. Inside is a little girl in a bad state of intoxication, where a little later she was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Underage students from drinking alcohol felt a sudden malaise and had stomach cramps. The four of them were rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Four more students were taken to hospital by their parents.
Handcuffs to the store manager
“It turned out to be an event where they served alcohol without any control and obviously poor quality alcohol. She knew some of the children, in fact one of the children even vomited on her, that is, the malaise of some children was extensive. There was no restriction on alcohol,” said the father of a female student.
The police handcuffed the store manager for endangering minors and he was brought before the prosecutor in the morning. The prom was organized by a private events company and promoted by the 15 members of several schools in Attica. Although they were minors, however, the drink flowed abundantly.
“Inside the club there were over 300 children from various schools of Agia Paraskevi, Geraka, Pallini, Kantzas. In fact, it was organized to the extent that there are rented buses, which will pick up the children from school and return them to the school premises”, said the student’s father.
The police informed the municipality of Athens about the violation of the exposure of minors at risk, requesting the sealing of the shop.
