Arsenal, when will Odegaard return? Arteta is cautious, the Norway coach gives a hint

Mikel Arteta has revealed that the Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaardis in the “final phase” of his rehabilitation from the injury. The Norwegian midfielder has been out of action since September after suffering an ankle injury while playing for Norway which also caused him to miss the match against Atalanta in the Champions League. And the former Real Madrid player should also miss – barring any surprises – another Italian team, Inter, given the match at San Siro scheduled for November 6th.

This is because the coach of the Gunners he confirmed it yesterday in a press conference, explaining however that they are there margins to see Odegaard again on the pitch during the match against Chelsea on November 10: “He has already been on the field for a few weeks, but there are still some things to complete. How quickly we can complete this last phase of his rehabilitation is a question we will have to answer once we have the players around and he starts to compete with the team, which he hasn’t done yet.”

If he will actually return before the national break: “Let’s hope. Yes, but we will have to see how this phase proceeds”, commented Arteta. Meanwhile the Norway coach, Stale Solbakkenis confident of being able to embrace Odegaard again soon: “Everything indicates that things are proceeding according to plan. So these are the last steps, when he has to train with his opponents and in team training. It depends on how he reacts to this, but we have a legitimate hope that he is ready”, the words taken from The Independent.
