For this 7th round of the Coupe de France, there are still many clubs. From the 3rd district division to Ligue 2, there are still 174 in the running, pending the entry of Ligue 1 clubs next December. By then, there will already be much fewer of them.
District clubs (clubs which operate at the departmental level) are starting to become rare. There are only a handful left, and one of them plays in the third district division in Vendée.
The club of Saint-Philbert-la-Réorthe-La Jaudonnière is the little thumb of this 7th round. After eliminating SO Cholet (playing in Regional 3), the Vendéens will receive the SA Mérignacais, resident of Regional 1.
Still in Vendée, les Herbiers (N2) will receive the Corsicans of AC Ajaccio who play in Ligue 2.
Further north, the FC Lorient (L2) will go to the pitch of Ruffiac Malestroit Foot (R2). Vannes (N3) and Le Mans (N1) will clash at the same time, and Laval (L2) will go to Vitré (N3).
L’En Avant de Guingamp (L2) will move on the lawn of the FC Serquigny Nassandres (R2). As for the Charentais of the ACFC, the Angoulême club, they will have the honor of receiving Rodez, 13th in league 2.
The matches will be played the weekend of November 16.
