Zelensky accused the US of leaking data about the classified part of the Impact Plan

The head of state of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that he has made a request to the US for the provision of long-range Tomahawk missiles in the secret part of the Victory Plan. The information appeared on the pages of an American newspaper The New York Times – something for which the president of Ukraine blamed the White House, the publication reports “Strana.ua”.

“You see what is happening now in the media. They said that Ukraine wanted or wanted to get many missiles, such as Tomahawk. But this was secret information between Ukraine and the White House. How should we understand the situation? This means that there is nothing between the partners,” suggested Zelensky.

In its October 29 article, the NYT clarified that the requested missiles would not be provided to Ukraine.

Zelensky also said that Ukraine will not ask the West to withdraw its weapons because of the involvement of North Korean troops on the Russian side. According to him, this is a very dangerous topic that threatens to undermine the current support for Kyiv.

“I know how skeptical everyone is about this and very cautious and we have never pushed this idea and we have never discussed it in detail. I mean it is very, very dangerous when there is no such decision from the leaders and from the society. It is very dangerous to raise this topic, because you can lose any other support,” explained the president of Ukraine.

However, he said the West had “very few bold steps” in response to these actions.
